Store Manager - Full-time

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, including sales, customer service, staff management, inventory management, visual merchandising, and handling online orders.

Mochi is a young contemporary fashion brand based in Amsterdam committed to slowing down the pace of fashion. We do drops when a collection is ready, and our timeless pieces can be purchased and worn regardless of the season. Our designs are fun, contemporary, modern, and colorful. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our Store team.

The Store Manager duties include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, staff management, visual merchandising, and packing online orders
  • Embody the values of our brand, including a commitment to slowing down the pace of fashion and being the most responsible version of ourselves
  • Hire, train, and manage staff to ensure they are delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, and packing online orders efficiently
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability while also maintaining our brand values and commitment to responsible fashion
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that the store is well-stocked, with a focus on our timeless pieces and preventing unnecessary stock and waste
  • Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising to ensure the store looks attractive and appealing to customers
  • Monitor customer feedback and ensure that any issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Prepare sales reports and other performance metrics for management

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a store manager in a fashion retail environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and increasing profitability
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising and store operations
  • Experience with inventory management and stock control
  • Previous experience with Shopify is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
  • Flexibility in availability i.e., available to work Saturday
